Hive is already oversampled where necessary. I don't think it makes much sense. (I'm actually quite proud we got Hive's performance on par with Sylenth despite oversampling filters and some effects quite a bit)

Have you tried rendering a Hive track at 44.1kHz and 192kHz and noticed any considerable difference? It's an honest question, I haven't given this much thought yet.

That said, for Hive 2.0 I'm experimenting with a higher control rate for the Mod Matrix. That IMHO will have a much greater impact than sample rate, without maxing out the CPU.

In FL Studio there is night and day difference at least in Hive (that high rate LFO thing i keep mentioning all the time). :)

Post

That's not because of oversampling tho.

That's a control rate issue. In Hive 2 we'll increse it without oversampling and any notable without CPU impact.

So that means issue that persist in FL will be fixed ? :)

Yes, most certainly. We haven't done it yet and we haven't tested it yet though.
