Hive is already oversampled where necessary. I don't think it makes much sense. (I'm actually quite proud we got Hive's performance on par with Sylenth despite oversampling filters and some effects quite a bit)Yorrrrrr wrote: Sun Feb 24, 2019 5:04 pm Hello Urs. Is it possible to add adjustable oversampling for realtime and rendering? In the latest Sylenth1 (v. 3.050 beta) it was added so I thought it would be nice for Hive too.
Have you tried rendering a Hive track at 44.1kHz and 192kHz and noticed any considerable difference? It's an honest question, I haven't given this much thought yet.
That said, for Hive 2.0 I'm experimenting with a higher control rate for the Mod Matrix. That IMHO will have a much greater impact than sample rate, without maxing out the CPU.
