The voucher code PA-MEGA-20-OFF can only be used 1x per person!

Finally, MetricAB for $19. :hihi:
SSL E for $29. Lol. I was wondering how long it would take them to lower it that much. There you have it. If you wait a year you can get pretty much any PA plug-in for $29. That’s one hell of a devaluation.
And then resell those for $5 in the FS forum.

I think the most I paid recently was $70 for the crossgrade price for BYOME when it first came out. (Which is still a good price for its capabilities, IMO). Right now with that coupon it's a total no brainer for $49.

I'm sure Iron and Hawkeye will follow suit later this year or early next year.

+1 - also for Waves, Wusik, Melda, and other vendors that are perpetually on sale.

-1 : my vote is to keep the offers as is - I am happy to spend the few seconds skipping stuff not of interest to me.

+1,000,000 - PA has dominated the past number of pages. That's more than a few seconds, and there's the danger of missing out on a gem 'cos I'm in speed scan mode.

I've never used crack, but if it's as addictive as PA's voucher + sales routine, it should be outlawed.

I even get some entertainment out of PA's antics. Last month they kept the suspense up till the very last, when I got to use my monthly voucher on something I had been wanting to buy (if ever available that cheap, that is, wouldn't have paid full price).

I also prefer that approach, however I'm sorry to be the one to let you know that Tokyo Dawn Labs started doing sales late 2017.

Audiodeluxe also had a sale July 2018 with TDR VOS SlickEQ – Gentleman’s Edition amounting to $16.99 in the cart, bargain.

Also sorry that I have to include a small rant:
While I can't can't blame them for doing sales it unfortunally had a bad impact on me. I was planning to buy all of their plugins but then I saw that I could have purchased them all for not much more what I paid for the 3 plugins I had bought some months earlier.
Sure they later added bundle discounts for their already existing customers but those where still much more expensive. I wrote them an email about it but never saw any changes so that ended up creating a bad vibe for me. I have not, to this day, purchased anything more. Still hoping my mind can let that slide one day but my hangups usually ends up having a life of their own and long ones at that.

With that said I still wish them all best and I have nothing but goodwill, my wallet however is p*ssed AF but then he is just a greedy wanker with constant GAS and never gets satisfied anyway...
Don't know if what I wrote in my previous post makes a difference to your feelings toward them. I'll admit I am disappointed to find that the price offered for upgrade to the full bundle from the 2 I've bought would mean I'd still have paid more than buying the bundle outright. I save, but not as much.
No not really and I don't see why it should. Also I can't see my thoughts and feelings as anything but as fair and rational as it gets. I understand that their choice to change their policy on sales had nothing to do with me personally, so why should I have any ill will. I wish them all success and have no hard feelings towards TD, but that doesn't mean I'm going to give them my money.

From my side of things I can't really support this situation I, as customer, currently find myself in. It's a pure value judgement from my personal situation regarding money, greed, my passion for all things music related, desires and so on.

I choose to prioritize developers that goes that extra mile when it comes to create goodwill, be it with low price, good customer interraction, non intrusive/simple/reliable copy protection and what not. Basicly altruistic actions in general within reason.

As I see it TD made a value judgment and so did I, there's no ill will from anyone. Unless TDL make some changes that has an positive impact for my situation my mind is not going to change. Compromising my values is highly unlikely since I can't see any positive utcome in the long run for me (or anyone else) by doing so.

Don't misstake my little rant for anything else than me letting of some steam. I wrote an email to TD in 2017 and have not made one single post about it (as far as I can recall) until today. If I had an actual grudge and ill will against TD I would do like so many others with poor judgment skills and go posting sh*t and bashing the developer in any way or form possible.

Sure, I would rather not be posting harmless rants and bad jokes in small text but since I really like Tokyo Dawns plugins and as my selfishness sometimes gets the better of me I had to express the disappointment.

This post has taken more time than I am willing to admit to my self so nothing personal against you, or anyone else for that matter, but this will be my last public post about this subject, at least for this year...and if we are lucky, forever.

Anyway, PA seems a lot more desperate lately. Suddenly pulling Waves moves since 1-2 months ago. What happened?
I don't think it's desperation. I think they've realized how many hundreds or thousands of people will buy plugins at $69 or less but won't buy them at $99 or more. 1000 sales at $29 beats 5 sales at $199.

I've taken advantage of the offers a couple of times (PA doesn't have much I want.) But I actually prefer the approach taken by Tokyo Dawn - reasonable prices, no sales.
Maybe when people stopped getting vouchers, people don't buy. The voucher thing is great because the developer shows some loyalty. The downside it many of us bought needless plugins to keep that voucher coming. Too bad they don't put it in your account how much you need to spend to get those points. Safeway and Fry's does that for buying groceries.

It's actually much cheaper than the upgrade price available to owners of other UA plugins.
The upgrade is normally $99. They just changed it in the user accounts to reflect the current sale price...
Good to know, thanks 8)

Only works for new customers
"SORRY, YOU CAN USE A REFERRAL COUPON FOR YOUR FIRST PURCHASE ONLY"

I wouldn't mind if my previous purchases counted towards a discount for MXXX. But no - I've spent a lot of money with them and it costs me €500 and a new customer gets it for €400. :P
