Please no!! The graphs, in order to fit into the fixed space are relative and so you do not automatically know the time scale. Such graphs are actually less informative than the sliders are. The sliders are absolute, so you can be sure what you are seeing. They also are easier to grab with the mouse for tweaking and they show the modulation more effectively.

Your suggestion would be a significant loss in workflow.

I have to agree. I can see the shape of an envelope by the position of the sliders.

Yeah, I noticed after I posted that mockup that the scope has the ability to show the amp envelopes, but since the information in the scope scrolls in real-time it's actually better suited to display the amp envelope visualisation than a static image as per the mockup. So it looks as though the scope will cater for everybody's taste!

I also agree.
I think it would ruin the already brilliant design aesthetic.
My OCD is very comfortable with the sliders.

Such a great looking machine. Svelte and pristine. If it were female, it'd be Hivey Minogue :D

Can't wait for this thing. This will be my workhorse softsynth.

Guess I'll have to wait until IMSTAfest at the end of the month to see Hive 2.0 in action!

It was already an amazing synth with one of the most pristine sound engines out there, but that video really has me pumped. They've put a huge amount of work into it. Can't wait !!

PieBerger and others,
Thank you for posting. Will have to save the "sheep sequencers" for Hive 3, I take it? ;) Viktor has a pleasant voice, is he originally from France? Hive 2 looks cool so far. Bring it on! :)
