I quite understand this thread is 8 years old but I discovered Computer Muzys only recently and have been using it since as a sketchpad – midi editing is as easy as it can be, many free relatively modern plugins work without any problem: Geist Lite, Zampler (it supports rx2 btw), Klanghelm's DC1A3.
I have tried both MuLab and Luna and didn't figure out neither. The only issue with Muzys is a freakish instability on W7. Sometimes Muzys warns me that my system runs slow, sometimes it just freezes. I mean, come on, I found an old laptop which has two cores and 2 GB of RAM, it's gonna be enough for a 16 year old sequencer.

It's a fantastic bit of software alright! 
I never had a single issue with it from vista to Win10. Maybe that's cos I'm using the latest v3.14 not CMuzys, which I did have some problems with as far back as 2005 on XP.
