Where is " * Modernized set of tags" ???

They look the same to me.

Post

From the other thread:
---
Hi Biome_Digital, they've been "modernized" in the sense that they've been adjusted to reflect the current set that we also use in Hive 2 and Zebra 2. They're not 100% different but a few were replaced or renamed and other have been added that we feel were sorely missing. They're now much more consistent with what we use in all our other synths.

Awesome, thank you very much for the updates! :-) :tu: :tu: :tu:

One wish for the future though: It would be really great if the installers would remember what I installed the last time - I no longer want 32 bit plugins and have no use for AAX, so that becomes a bit of a clickfest with a dozen installers...
Or have some kind of install_template.txt in the data directory that is read by each installer?
Whatever is the easiest to implement.

Won't kill me of course, but I like installers that I can basically click through... ;-)

Cheers,

Tom

I use u-he plugins for years now and have always used vst2-versions. Is it save to use vst3 now?

We updated all plugins apart from Filterscape, MFM2, TyrellN6 and Uhbik.
Listed in the first post are just a few selected noteworthy fixes/improvements for individual plugins. There simply wasn't anything especially noteworthy that only applied to ACE or Twangström. A complete changelog for all plugins (incl. ACE and Twangström) can be found on each plugin's product page.

I don't see a reason why you'd need to switch to VST3 if VST2 works well in your host.
But yes, all the now updated plugins have fully working VST3 versions.

The 8-way favourites are part of the tag database, which we can only enable when we fully tag the factory library. Which would have taken too much time for now...

It's safe to use VST3... actually, forget that! I don't know if that is true in all DAW's. The u-he VST3's work well in Bitwig. That's all I know.
