Wow! A whole lot of writing has apparently happened since the last time I checked in.Teksonik wrote: Sat Mar 26, 2022 2:17 pm Once again I don't expect an answer. Just a simple acknowledgement here that the issues are being addressed.
He has already responded to some posts here so it's not a quantum leap in effort to address the performance issues brought up here.
Partial forum participation can be a worse look for a company than no participation at all.
So I'm left to consider the fact that if I do purchase another Korg plugin (I own 4 already) that there is a good chance that support will be spotty or non-existent.
If anyone remembers the patch recall bug in Wavestation and M1 they'll remember that fixes from Korg can be slow in coming.
But I'll still probably buy the plugin since I like it a lot but I'll do so with eyes wide open knowing that if I ever do need support Korg may not provide top level service.
A couple of relevant points:
Official Korg support is provided through *Korg Distributors* and, for plug-ins only, Korguser.net (https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us). Korg doesn't provide official support through *any* third-party websites, including KVR. A list of Korg Distributors is available here: https://www.korg.com/us/corporate/distributors/
I'm the "Manager of Product Development" at Korg R&D. My job is to think up products (with help from the team), and then convince the company to make them, help the engineers to build them, help the sound designers to make sounds for them (and do some sound design and editing myself), write the manuals for them, and help the distributors to support and market them. So, I wear a lot of hats! At times like this, just after a product launch, I'm trying to keep an eye on at least some of the many corners of the net, answering questions as I can, and watching out for problems, helping support staff to respond to them and getting engineers to look at issues as required. While that may make it *look* as if my job is support, it's not. If I don't respond instantly to a thread, please don't take that as an affront; instead, please use the official support channels as above.
