Well according to the kit names, there's actually only one of the five with towels on there. Beautiful graphics, but I think they're misleading in that sense?Vocalpoint Studios wrote: ↑Sat May 07, 2022 1:37 pm I really want to use tight room but lose the towels on everything from time to time - cannot see a way to do this?
EZ Drummer 3 announced.

Saw that and tried a few that appeared to "not" have towels - but even after selecting one - the towel stays on the graphic (annoying item #1) but the sound of the drum supposedly WITHOUT towels - still sounds like towels to me. I wrote to Toontrack today and they explained it to me so it makes more sense.
I think one other thing (I also mentioned to them) that mixed me up was for some kits they look the same, but they are actually different drums. E.g. load one kit from the Tight Room and it has Ludwig drums, then load a different kit (in the Tight Room) and it might use Gretsch drums, but the drums themselves all look the same on the screen.
Anyway, I really love the sounds from EZ Drummer 3 and overall I'm very impressed.

So you would have wanted them to record each drum/kit in each of the three rooms? I think that is SDX (Superior Drummers expansions) type territory.
Library would be huge and expensive.

At the moment it appears:
For us Reaper users:
Ctrl-Drag/Drop moves midi from EZD3 into Reaper.
But it is a two step process to go the other way: Ctrl-Alt-Drag/Drop midi/audio from Reaper to desktop then Drag/drop from desktop to EZD3.

Just open Reaper’s Project Bay and drag directly from there to EZDrummer. No other steps necessary.MusicStudent wrote: ↑Sun May 08, 2022 8:08 pm At the moment it appears:

For Reason users, Kushview Element ($5) is a decent workaround VST3->VST2 solution until VST3 support comes - it's working in R12 Windows 11 here with drag and drop midi out to the sequencer, and drag and drop midi in from the desktop

In Tap2Find, “Quantize” has been renamed to “Resolution” and a “Swing/Triplets” header has been added in the menu.noiseboyuk wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 7:31 pm .... Biggest disappointment by far - I may have missed it, but looks like Tap2Find still doesn’t have different key sigs / swing controls. That’s such a no brainier, surely was easy for them to implement.
Still, I think I’m in.

Yeah, this is weird / useless. They posted in a reply to me that they were going to combine swing and triplets... they're not the same thing! I just installed 3.0.1 and essentially it's just a rename of what was there before, with Swing being factually inaccurate. And still no option to not quantize at all, to do Swing by stealth.zvenx wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 5:24 pmIn Tap2Find, “Quantize” has been renamed to “Resolution” and a “Swing/Triplets” header has been added in the menu.noiseboyuk wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 7:31 pm .... EDIT - to be clear, swing is a variable amount to provide a range of different feels, triplets are rigid.

OK I admit it. I didn't the read the whole manual yet.
I was wondering how to render out the sound I have in EZD3 if I have created patterns myself within the plugin that is loaded in my DAW. I see an export as WAV option, but there must be another way.
