In my Zebra libraries there's always an XY dedicated to reverb and/or delay. This way you can lock it into a corner to disable those while browsing presets but still get other effects like distortion, EQ, etc.
Or in Zebra you can completely disable the effects with the FX bypass button. I think it can be locked too but I'm not 100% sure now.
