Most of our plugins are compatible to Monterey and Ventura, only exceptions being Filterscape, Uhbik and TyrellN6.juandelouise wrote: Sun Nov 13, 2022 5:04 am When's the update for monterey so I can get the latest version of logic?))))

How is it going with the Uhbik to Apple silicone, and spesifically the vst 3?
Im converting from PC to Mac here since 2 months, and just spent 7 full days porting pipeline mixes of my main project over from the PC to a M1 Mac. Majority of the work was getting all the Uhbik plugs up and working.
Because they only exist in AU on Apple silicone for now they do not open their states from VST, so I have to re-set all parameters and some automations. (From Ableton Live on PC to Ableton Live on Mac)
As a long time pro in EDM I try to use as few 3rd party plugs as possible, specifically for situations like this, and collaborations and so on. For 3rd party effects I keep it to Vallhalla, Fab Filter, and U-He Uhbiks. (Fab Filter and Valhalla plugs all worked straight up.)
In other words there are Uhbiks all over my tracks.
Another issue: I might be dumb but im used to save vst presets through ableton lives plugin container in Live 10 on PC. This function is now gone in Live 11 on Mac m1. And I cant seem to find where the Uhbiks stores their presets internally. But I always save plugin presets my own way so they all are at the same place, for backup and general workflow ease. Seems like I cant do this anymore with Uhbiks on live 11 on Apple silicone. This is unfortunate to my workflow.
(Half way into this I found some work arounds to make the porting quicker: Wrap the plugs in Racks, and copy the automation over to rack macros. Then over on the Mac these can be copied over to the plugs parameter.)
Ps. Also had a full crash on the m1 with Runciter requiring rebooting Live 11, but this has not since repeated.

Uhbik also comes with VST2 versions, not just AU.
However, the current version of Uhbik isn't officially supported on the newest macOS versions.
Especially the AU version might not work as intended anymore, as AU related code sometimes changes with major macOS updates, breaking functionality like automation or MIDI control.
Thus using the VST2 might actually be the safer bet right now.
Just avoid the VST3.
And you'll have to run Live in Rosetta mode if you want to use Uhbik, as it doesn't have native Silicon support yet.
Once we're done with the Filterscape update, we'll resume work on the big Uhbik update.

i stopped using them (and i miss them alot, esp uhbik-c, runciter and uhbik-a) because they have a nasty tendency to explode sometimes in rosetta.tasmaniandevil wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 11:35 am Uhbik also comes with VST2 versions, not just AU.

We are working on native silicon. But the Uhbik AU seem to work fine for now. I will bounce them to audio very soon anyway from here on.
We did not update to the latest OS. I think we use the one that came with it, Mac mini m1. Not in the studio atm.
Didnt realize there was vst2 versions. Will check it when I get back from xmas.
Hope you guys take some days off too!
Marry x-mas
