Nope, FL is. There are way more Windows users than Mac users in the world.
Moot point. Are there way more folks doing audio on Win than on Mac?

What’s the ratio at your place Win v macOS-based customers?

FL studio stands for fruity loops
Fruity Loops = Fruity Loops.
They changed the name in 2003. Which means Fruity Loops isn't anything anymore for 20 years now.
Weird how 'certain' people still call it 'Fruity Loops' ..
Goldstar changed its name to LG at one point, but we all know that it stands for Lucky Goldstar, and it will always be called Lucky Goldstar to me, because I knew them back in the day.

lol what do you mean by 'certain' people?

It's not really weird that people still call it that, its the original name of it, they just shortened it

and who cares if people call it fruity loops or fl studio? its the same thing
I disagree. But who cares, right 👌🏻

So is the following incorrect:

?
Developer resources.
I have no idea, intel, or knowledge about income, profit or whatever.
I struggle with my own taxes, so..
It is also not my responsibility to talk about anything like that, so I won't.

As stated quite often by Scott and other devs, we now have someone looking at the plugins.
But how and when they come back, is also not in my knowledge or power.

You seem embarrassed by Fruity Loops' real name.
I think Image-Line is too. That's probably why they shorten it.

Kentucky Fried Chicken goes by KFC. It's even on their marquee. But it's still fried chicken.

And you know, "FL" still has to stand for something.
Just like "KVR."

The difference is that with FL, people actually know what that is.

No, actually Kelloggs
FruityLoops was eventually renamed FL Studio for branding purposes and to avoid a prolonged trademark dispute in the United States with Kelloggs.

Just wanted to put out here how much I (and I'm sure many others) really appreciate you and Olivier coming over to the forum to engage with us. Really means a lot, and speaks volumes (in a good way).

And while we have you here, I'll state that improved MIDI support will turn me into a customer :P

It's quite important to me too be in contact with the community, but I'm mostly active on the Image-Line forum, I actually had an account here earlier but forgot about that and made a new one, but still never used KVR much.
So one reason why my face never shows up here :'D.

We actually had a quite good improvement of the MIDI clock and jitter. (Internally at the moment, was teased by one of our developers a few days ago)
It's from a small value to an even smaller one, ~100x if my tired brain did the math right.

Still not perfect, but we are on it.
It was actually already improved but there was a mistake with the code review, it stayed behind a define that disabled it. And went by unnoticed for a couple of months.
Finding out about that triggered a new look at the issue,, and it was even improved by a lot more.

Slowly getting there.
