strange problem with syncpressor

so when using syncpressor, im having a pretty weird issue in that all the knobs are stuck basically at their default position. i’m able to adjust them only in the almost smallest possible amount and then it’s stuck. for example, i can adjust the threshold down .1, sometimes up to .3, from its default setting, and that’s it. it’s the same issue with all the knobs. all i can do to actually dial anything in is to manually type in the amounts, which is a huge PITA when you’re trying to set up a compressor. for all practical purposes, it’s unusable for me.

to my knowledge there’s only one version of the plugin, 1.0.1, and i’m on a 2020 m1 mac running logic

apparently i’m just having bad luck all around because when i try to start a new support ticket im redirected to my downloads. then i click support and click to start a new ticket, rinse, repeat
