FlX should be on everyone's radar. Fab Filter (which is a company I respect) just released something very similar for much, much more money.

There are only two plugins i haven't bought, Isone and the EBU Loudness. Next years pruchase plan is Isone, with the other one i can't see much use.
I have a dream though, only if Jeroen would add external sidechaining to his wonderful compressors, then there would be no need to look for expensive stuff like Fabfilter Pro-C.
Maybe for christmas...

I am also a big fan of Jeroen's work with ToneBoosters and would hate to see the Module discontinued. Back in April 2011, I remember bugging Jeroen that he needed an FX plugin in the ToneBoosters line up that had the effects and quality of the discontinued Kjaerhus plugins. What he came up with IMHO is a great FX plugin that definitely warrants continued development.piel wrote:First of all i'd like to thank Jeroen for the update.
It is kinda funny that my most used plugins got retired, but such is life.
The EZCompressor is usable in its current state, still works fine.
I used Ferox as a "tape-compression" effekt on neuro basslines. I also own a license to Reelbus, is there a way to use RB the same way so i can kiss goodbye to Ferox?
The last one i wanted to mention is Module. Actually this plug is the reason why i started this post. I am also with those who would like to see it back in the pack, it is a really useful plugin and complementer to the Reverb. It sould get developed not to be left out.
I asked Jeroen about it and he said "the Module may come back (if I get a sufficient number of requests
I suggested that at a minimum he should still have it as an option to purchase. I hope Jeroen reads this thread and sees how may ToneBooster users like and use the Module. I think it would also help to drop Jeroen an e-mail and share your thoughts.
Thanks, Rick

I like it. If it will be single plugin - not part of bundle, I'll pay 15-20€ for it.cooljazz58 wrote:I hope Jeroen reads this thread and sees how may ToneBooster users like and use the Module.

Interesting! Those are my two most-used TB plugs, and are the reason I bought the suite.piel wrote:There are only two plugins i haven't bought, Isone and the EBU Loudness. Next years pruchase plan is Isone, with the other one i can't see much use.

I listen to music on headphones at work, and use Audio Hijack every day to run iTunes through Isone. I use EBU Loudness on every track I finalize before bouncing to m4a.
The TB suite is an amazing value.

One and only thing I really miss in the new v3 plugins are those brilliant easy-too-see-the-value knobs that v2 had. Nothing else. I would really really like to see those back. These new knobs just don't look good however you look at them.
Well, at least the value track around the knob could use the old more contrasting yellow/green on black scheme.
But knobs aside, It's one of the best, if not the best value VST plugin bundle ever, especially with the Module back into the bundle. Yes, one more who really likes the Module!
This bundle really is a no-brainer to buy. Add Klanghelm and DDMF plugins to this and you don't need much more than that, especially if you own Reaper with its absolutely great tons of plugins.
Piel, if you need sidechaning why don't you try VladG Molot or Klanghelm DC8C?

Wish you could just buy Module on its own, not really bothered about the others (except Barricade which I already have)

Yeah it's really weird how Jeroen came to perceive the Module as not really worth the trouble. It's one of the best in the bunch IMHO, too and I really like TimeMachine and the EQ, too. But I bought it for EBU Loudness actually. Compyfox's "fault".
Even though I must say that RME Digicheck is a really great metering app. But i'm not sorry because TB bundle is so much more than just EBU loudness plugin. Great guy, great plugins.

It doesn't excite me as much because I only use simple TPDF dithering 99% of the time now , however his idea of a dithering plugin is as unique and absolutely interesting as you would expect from Jeroen.
You actually don't need dithering at all if you publish your work on the web in form of MP3, AAC, or 24bit WAV. CD Times are gone by now never to return, thankfully. 48k24bit is the new king everyone can enjoy now, even the iPod crowd. When it comes to lossy audio dithering doesn't matter so much any more, but the quality of audio is better when there is at least some kind of noise in the background all the time and TPDF dithering delivers just that. I don't feel like there's need for anything better than TPDF dithering now and especially in the future when they start introducing 96k24bit playback devices. They're actually here already... lots of bits but bad 2-bit production is the state of the things now, but it will get better I think.

I bought the Toneboosters Track Essentials bundle for the ridiculously good price of 25 Euros
The TB Reverb is one of the sweetest and most natural sounding reverb plug-ins I have ever come across. It is now my 'go to' reverb. It's simply fantastic for vocals.
The rest of the bundle is such good quality too: the EQ, compressor and module especially are becoming part of my de-facto toolkit.
What was it that prompted me to buy them ? I was really impressed with the Computer Music give-away version of Barricade
Thanks Jeroen for great, pro sounding VSTs at an affordable price. These are seriously good quality effects.
I am now saving up for the Bus Tools bundle

The reverb is very good, so is the compressor.
Everything he does is good.
