Problem with serial number Windows 7 [solved]

I wrote to the art acoustics support yesterday but didn't get a answer til now.
I want to install Art Acoustic Reverb on Windows 7 64 Bit.
When I first startthe plugin it ask for the serial number.
After inserting it i get the message:
Could not write serial to preference file !
Please contact ArtsAcoustic support.
I tried also starting the host in Aministrator mode but it doest help.

Hey mate - how did you solve this problem ?? i'm having the exact same issue.... no matter how many times i re-install / different file pathing etc it still gives me the same pop up box...
please help as i would really like to start using my reverb again...

Same here.. Win7 64bit, latest AAR Version, these serial issues are a bit annoying to paying customers, sorry..
Running host ( Ableton live8 ) as admin worked though..

Try actually running the DAW or the plug-in installer as administrator (right click on the exe\shortcut and select Run as Administrator). Being logged in as admin is not always enough.
