23Tape – First Update: Bug Fix + Wow & Flutter Controls

Hey everyone,
just a quick update on 23Tape for those who've downloaded it or are keeping an eye on it.
Shortly after release, a few users reported an issue with the "30 IPS" mode. In some setups—especially when certain sample rates and buffer sizes were involved—the plugin could output unexpectedly high levels. This turned out to be tied to how the filter response was reacting under the hood.
That bug is now fixed. If you experienced it, sorry for the trouble—and thanks for flagging it so quickly. You can grab the updated version from the same download page.
While I was at it, I also added a couple of new things:
- Wow and Flutter parameters are now exposed.
- The Output range has been extended.
- There are some under-the-hood improvements too: better aliasing prevention in the filters, more efficient compression calculation, and improved stability in the hysteresis model.
This update doesn't drastically change how the plugin sounds, but it should behave more predictably and offer a bit more control.
Thanks to everyone who jumped in early and sent feedback.
More stuff is coming.
