Ample Sound has announced the release of Ample Slide Lapsteel (ASL), a newly sampled virtual instrument based on a '70s Jedson Lap Steel (David Gilmour Custom Model with one EMG pickup). It is designed for Psychedelic Rock, Ambient, Hawaiian, Blues and Country styles.

Oh great! Finally a slide Guitar as a Plugin. I play slide Guitar and love Pink Floyd. Unfortunately, slide guitar is very difficult to import to the Computer. Lots of unwanted background noise and such. Now the sound can be brought in really well. Nice!!.
