- A new Visualizer, using animation to show Envelopes, LFO, and Filter operations in real time.
- Revamped videos with better pacing and face-to-face guidance with creator Joe Hanley.

- More nuanced scoring and remapped parameters allowing for more consistent progress and less roadblocks.
- Shorter Group Challenges and Bonus Rounds.
Joe Hanley, they creator of Syntorial shares his excitement about the update:
Syntorial's been out for 10 years. In that time I've learned so much from our incredibly engaged users, and refined my teaching approach through the development of other courses and curriculums. Syntorial 2.0 is the manifestation of everything I've learned, streamlined into a revamp of an already great synth course that I can't wait for the world to experience.
The plug-in version of Syntorial's synth, Primer, is still included with the purchase of Syntorial, and is also receiving a major 2.0 update that includes:
- The new interface and Visualizer from Syntorial.
- A new Random patch generator with two levels of "tameness".
Syntorial 2.0 costs $129.99 USD, and will be on sale for two weeks starting June 22 at $77.99 USD.
For current V1 users there's an upgrade option:
- If V1 was purchased on or after March 1 2023, the upgrade is free.
- Otherwise the upgrade will cost $34.99 USD, on sale for $19.99 USD for two weeks starting June 22.
