Audible Genius has updated Primer, its software synthesizer, to version 2.0.019 and announced that it is now available for free on Mac and Windows (The iPad version has already been free for some time).
The latest update also introduces the new Famous Sounds Preset Library, providing users with access to recreations of iconic synth patches from well-known songs. Get quick access to the online library via Primer's preset dropdown, or go directly to syntorial.com/presets via your browser.
Additional improvements in version 2.0.019 include:
- Enhanced performance and stability for the Visualizer and Volume Meter.
- Various other performance optimizations, along with minor bug and crash fixes.
Primer is now officially free for everyone:
- Mac: AU, VST3, and VST plugin.
- Windows: VST3 and VST plugin.
- iPad: Standalone app and AUv3 extension.
