Dash Signature announces Grand Electrix Virtual Piano

Dash Signature has announced Grand Electrix Virtual Piano, which they describe as "The perfect emulation of the famous CP70 electro-acoustic piano".

Grand Electrix is a sample based virtual instrument featuring a new stream from disk custom technology ("direct from disk"), for very low memory and CPU usage. The samples are derived from the Hollow Sun library - "Definitive CP 70".

Features:

  • 180 MB multi-sample full decay, no loops, crossfading layers.
  • Stream from disk custom technology for very low memory and CPU usage.
  • Complete control on Velocity response, curve, min max, sensitivity.
  • 3-Band EQ.
  • Tremolo.
  • Temperament Menu (microtuning).
  • Stretch tuning adjustable.

Grand Electrix Virtual Piano will be released initially as VST for Windows; it is scheduled for the end of this month.
