NAMM 2018Dialog Audio releases SQ4 Sequence Processor Plug-in

Dialog Audio

Dialog Audio has announced availability of SQ4 Sequence Processor, an audio software plug-in especially designed to create modulation sequences, to synchronise and modulate your audio hardware parameters, such as synthesizers and software parameters within a DAW.

Four sequences with up to 128 steps per sequence can be used to create sequenced modulation signals. Each sequence can be setup as curved, stepped or sloped, to allow various signal creations - from smooth curves to quick steps. Variable synchronisation and running directions are available and note events can be used to retrigger a sequence. Swing, slew limiting, phase offset and gain controls can be adjusted to accommodate modulations for the target device.

Modulation signal options:

  • Audio gear with MIDI inputs can be controlled via MIDI Continuous Controller messages (MIDI CC, RPN, NRPN), or via MIDI System Exclusive messages (SysEx, including checksums).
  • Audio gear with Control Voltages (CV) inputs, can be either controlled directly via an DC-coupled audio interface or via a MIDI to CV converter.
  • Furthermore the SQ4 can be used to modulate software synthesizer and audio plug-ins within the DAW, to allow extended modulation possibilities.

SQ4 Sequence Processor is available for Mac OS X and Windows in VST, AU and AAX plug-in formats for $49.00 USD (including VAT).

MP3244 Modulation Processor and SQ4 Sequence Processor can be bought bundled together for $79.00 USD (including VAT), representing around a 20% saving over buying both products separately. Owners of MP3244 Modulation Processor are eligible for a special offer to upgrade their existing MP3244 Modulation Processor license to a Plugin Bundle license by buying SQ4 Sequence Processor at a reduced rate, valid until February 28, 2018.
