Fanan Team has released Concordia, an ambient accompaniment synth for Windows. They say:
Concordia is an ambient accompaniment synthesizer capable of creating a vast array of background accompaniment phrases to enrich any musical track or playback.
The synth's core method is based on three chord-based step sequencers, which can recognize any chord and follow it to build an accompaniment. Concordia can handle 1-note, 2-note, and even 3+ note chords (as many as the user desires) and send the results to any of the 16 sound engines based on 3 oscillators.
The chord sequencers can follow (or not follow) the DAW's tempo, allowing the user to match the sequence to any time signature. The sequencers also support randomization methods (up, down, random) and additional note key routing to enrich the played chord with more harmonies.
Key features:
- 3 chord based step arpeggiators with 3 kinds of method (up, down, random), time signature, tempo syncing and an additional key adding approach for harmony enrichment.
- Chords recognition, including note stealing and fingering technics.
- 3 independent oscillators including 16 sound engines each (bells, pianos, pads and guitars).
- Arpeggiator routing matrix.
- Synthesis section including lo-hi filter and 3 modes portamento.
- 3 master effects (wah-wah, reverb, delay) with dedicated sends from each oscillator.
- On GUI manual buttons.
- Resizable GUI.
Price: $8.
