GMedia/Ohm Force Oddity released

GForce Software

Ohm Force has teamed-up with sonic mentalists Gmedia to create the VSTi equivalent of the classic ARP Odyssey – The Oddity. It offers what they believe is the ultimate in analogue synth emulations to-date. While particular attention has been paid to capturing the searing, aggressive and funky tones of the original instrument, they've also added several enhancements such as the ability to 'Morph' between Presets and a unique 'Flying Fader' feature which allows you to throw sliders around at different speeds.

The Oddity features two syncable oscillators - fully tunable across a six octave range, with sawtooth, sine, square and variable pulse width waveforms. White and pink noise. Monophonic or duophonic modes. Host syncable LFO. Ring modulator, Resonant lowpass filter, highpass filter. Sample & hold, portamento, two envelope generators and a wealth of modulation routing options.

The Windows and MacOS VSTi Oddity is supplied, boxed, with a full printed manual, 5 banks of 64 Presets and is priced at £79.95 ($129.95), it is available to purchase straight away and shipping will begin on the 18th December.

AU, RTAS and MAS versions to follow early in the new year.
