Initial Audio

Initial Audio has updated SourceLab to version 1.3.0.

Improvements:

  • UI Layout and navigation improvements, removed the "Lab" tab, now all main tabs are together at the top, speeding up navigation.
  • Added Icons to the main tabs, this helps to visually know which tab is open.
  • Added option to hide the Source controls from the browser. This enables more space for the content. This option is in the top left burger bar menu.
  • Added speed control to MSG Envelopes. Can now use similar to an LFO, draw your curves and then adjust playback speed. The grid still represents fixed time in bars, so the speed acts as a multiplier, 0.5 is half speed.
  • Database is now shared in real time between plugin instances. This enables quicker project load times and more intuitive workflow. When you favourite a preset in one instance of SourceLab all others are notified and updated. When a preset is saved or created it becomes available instantly in all other instances.
  • Added a new way to create connections. Click and hold an output node, all possible input connections become highlighted. Then click the input you want. This avoids having to drag a wire to the input manually. This is easier, especially for laptop users without a mouse. User can still drag and drop if preferred.

Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where an expansion installed in heat up would not show up in SourceLab.
  • Fixed a bug where HeatUp Expansions larger than 4GB would not install.
  • Stability improvements.
  • Minor UI fixes.

This is a free update for existing customers, get the update by running the installer again, available on the SourceLab product page
