Initial Audio updates SourceLab to v2.3.0 - includes a polyphonic Wavetable Filter

Initial Audio

Initial Audio has updated SourceLab to version 2.3.0.

New Features:

  • Added new polyphonic wavetable filter. Use the Wavetable designer to create your wavetable, then send it to any filter. Or load an exist wavetable. It also has a wrap control to stretch and compress the shape. Also included is a wavetable position control so you can seamlessly move through the wavetable, creating unique filtering based on the shape.
  • Optimised the Drawable Filter and the Wavetable filter, both use much less CPU when modulating.
  • Added exporting wavetables as WAV files, these can then be loaded in Serum or any other synth that supports wavetables as WAV files.
  • Lock the pitch ranges for the pitch wheel, this prevents the ranges being overridden by preset changes.
  • Added back the Global Sequencer play and stop buttons, these are only visible when the sequencer is enabled.
  • Made the loop marker for LFOs easier to grab.

Fixes:

  • DAW BPM was not being correctly passed to loaded loops unless explicitly changed.
  • Fixed pitch and mod wheel not updating on custom Skins.
  • Stability fixes.

SourceLab 2.3.0 is a free update for existing users.
