Among many great contenders Computer Music has chosen Kilohearts Multipass as the winner of the prestigious Innovation of the Year award.

"Taking multiband processing to new heights with its fully modular approach, Kilohearts' groundbreaking plugin is the ultimate effects playground. Multipass splits the input signal into five adjustable frequency bands, each of which can host unlimited effects modules for discrete processing."

"The effects modules themselves are called Snapins, and at the time of writing there were 24 [23; ed note] of them available in the Kilohearts store... additions. Even if the range never grows beyond its current make-up, Multipass' is nothing short of stupendous."
- Computer Music, Jan 2017.

"We are thrilled to get this award, and we really put our best efforts into this thing. Those of you who have been following Kilohearts for a long time know that there was almost complete radio silence for two years. This is what we were doing."

- Per Salbark, Creative Director @ Kilohearts.

Multipass comes bundled with 5 free snapins, and costs $79 / € 79. Snapins cost $19 / €19 each, or can be bought in a bundle (the kHs Toolbox) for $199 / €199 (or 8.65 per snapin).
