Kuassa has announced the release of Efektor Harmonitron, a pitch shifting and harmonizing tool for sound designers and music producers.
Kuassa says:
This plug-in software offers a unique set of features, precision and flexibility, making it the go-to choice for those looking to add depth and dimension to their soundscapes.
Efektor Harmonitron allows users to add low-fatness and detune to thicken their riffs, rise different pitch notes to enrich vocals, and use the swell (slow attack) feature to create organ or synth-like tones with their guitar. This kind of effect has been used by artists such as The Beatles, Tom Morello, Prince, and Jack White, and is also a favorite among goregrind and death metal bands for creating guttural, unnaturally low vocals.
Each slider transposes the pitch up or down in a range from -24 to +24 semitones (-/+ 2 octaves) with +/- 50 cents global detune effects. Other features include quad independent pitch shifting engines and advanced detune, swell, and low-pass filter options.
Efektor Harmonitron is available now as VST/VST3/AU/AAX and A360 module** at the introductory price of $25*** (normal price $39) via the Kuassa website and selected Kuassa resellers. While Rack Extension version is in development and will be available exclusively via Reason Studio shop soon.
**Users need to update Amplifikation 360 to v1.1.6 for new Efektor Harmonitron modules. Available via the download Page.
***additional tax may apply in different countries.
