MusiKernel Team has announced the 15.11.0 release of MusiKernel, a music production solution for Linux and Windows featuring a suite of integrated hosts and plugins.
Changes since 15.10.0
All:
- Improved CPU performance of ADSR envelopes.
- Significant CPU performance improvements to many DSP algorithms when using a multicore CPU.
- The default output channels for the selected audio device can now be set in the Hardware Settings dialog.
- Improved knob appearance.
DAW-Next:
- Overhauled sequencer zooming and scrolling, smoother with better granularity.
- Fix a regression where MusiKernel has to be restarted after offline rendering audio.
- Double-clicking an item to open it will now intelligently change the item editor tab and scroll position based on the contents of the item.
- Fix not being able to edit automation on lower tracks when vertically zoomed.
Plugins:
- Instrument plugins: Add a checkbox to ADSR envelopes for using linear mode instead of logarithmic (using it prevents artifacts on the release tail of some sounds). Also make it the default option in Euphoria.
