Rob Papen releases RP-Verb 2 Effect Plug-in

-
Rob Papen

Rob Papen has released RP-Verb 2, the follow up to the RP-Verb effects plugin adding new tools and hundreds of presets.

RP-Verb 2 features a new Reverse Mode which allows users to reverse the reverb sound in a creative way. It can be tempo based and controlled easily.

RP-Verb's unique reverb 'Spaces' have had an overhaul with ten models including Hall Clean, Hall Cave, Room Cold, Room Storm, Vintage Type 1, Space Orbit 1 and more giving users instant results.

The new 'pre-reverb' Distortion gives an extra bite to the room sound – not just for drum and percussion sounds, this feature also works great on vocals, creating a more edgy sound before the reverb itself is applied.

RP-Verb 2 also features an 'Envelope Follower' for gated reverb sounds. The Envelope Follower can control other parameters of RP-Verb 2 at the same time, for instance, changing the Reverb length. More modulation options are available including an additional Envelope, LFO and a Modulation Matrix.

RP-VERB 2 can be purchased in a boxed edition, as an AAX, AU, VST audio software plug-in for Mac OS X (10.6 or higher) and Windows (Vista, 7, 8, and 10), from authorised Rob Papen dealers worldwide or as a download directly from Rob Papen for €149 / $149 / £119 (Owners of RP-Verb are eligible to upgrade to RP-Verb 2 for €39 / $39 / £35, while RP-Verb 2 is included in eXplorer4, the latest incarnation of Rob Papen's all-encompassing software bundle, so owners of eXplorer4 can download the RP-Verb 2 installer for free).
