Sampleson has released Alienize, describing it as a new way to create underscores, melodies, and textures. Create evolving atmospheres for passages or accent moments with your mouse (or your MIDI controller).
From exotic atmospheres to rhythmic textures or evolving melodies and arpeggios. You'll able to play them live and synchronize them with on-screen action on the go.
Alienize implements Granular, Subtractive, Wavetable and Sample playback synthesis to generate sounds. Sounds are generated by dragging the cursor over the interface and playing one (or many) notes. It also publishes this control as an automatable parameter for DAWs.
Alienize has 41 sound modules. Every one of them has gesture behavior (i.e. Theremin pitch is controlled by left-right cursor position). You will be able to play gestures over a movie to sync on the go.
Modules: Alien zones, Theremin, Arp 1, Mouse Blips, Mouse Booms, Alien Speech, Arp 2, Arp Violas, Hard Arp, Bug Flying, Cellos Pizz, AI Drone, Electro Drone, Retro Bass Arp, Simple Pad, Simple Flute, Tuned Bass Drum, Simple Viola, XY Pad, Bass Drone, Sheppard 1, Sheppard 2, Arc, Rubbing, Water, Bronze, Rust, Copper, Siren, Woods, Frame, Smash, Hit, String, Iron, Swoosh, Metal, Ufo, Percussive, Vibration, Plastic and Ratlle.
