SonicProjects has announced the release of the Programmer's Edition for OP-X PRO-3.
This new version features a streamlined interface including tooltips for easier programming as well as direct color switching (blue and dark, beige no longer available) directly from the plugin's GUI-switcher without the need of additional re-skinning packages. The sound and the features are identical to the classic version.
OP-X PRO-3 offers:

- 5 envelopes (4 poly, 1 mono).
- 4 LFOs (3 global, one per-voice, so times 12).
- A modulation matrix offering 5 slots.
- An arpeggiator offering 32 modes.
- An 8-step sequencer.

- 12 fully tunable separate voices.
- Autotune for oscillators, filters and envelopes.
- FM, ring modulation and hard sync.
- 3,000 built-in sounds including 475 famous 80s sounds.
In addition to the 3,000 included sounds the "New Sounds" site so far offers more than 400 additional new sounds for free download, including 159 new famous 80s sound, which together with the 475 pre-installed ones now total 643 famous 80s sounds. More to be added in the future.
