Steinberg Media Technologies has announced the release of a fully functional, 30-day trial of Cubase 6. It is now available at your local dealer* or for download on the Steinberg website at www.steinberg.net.
Cubase 6 Trial includes all the new features that were introduced in the latest major update to Cubase, Steinberg's advanced music production system.
Provided in Cubase 6 Trial are drastically enhanced MIDI functionality and a new audio and MIDI editing workflow that expedites the transformation from creative ideas to professional results. The VST Expression 2 comprises Note Expression for drawing controller values onto single note events, updated VST Expression Map functionality and the Articulations/Dynamics Lane in the Key Editor. Turning to audio, Cubase 6 Trial adds phase-stable editing and quantizing of multi-track drum recordings, a new transient and advanced tempo detection and the ability to group several tracks for instant simultaneous editing of related events. In addition, the redesigned Lane Track system for both audio and MIDI offers convenient multitake comping by clicking on the best parts of multiple takes to form a single perfect take.
Cubase 6 Trial provides users with an entire arsenal of the most musical tools. HALion Sonic SE is one of the many highlights in Cubase Trial 6. It includes a dedicated number of sounds and instruments and incorporates a high-quality audio and synth engine. The second incarnation of LoopMash offers new ways to breathe life into any loop, including 20 effects endeared by DJs for real-time triggering. With the VST Amp Rack guitar tone suite, users can now choose from several of the finest guitar amplifiers to infuse their guitar tracks with drive, punch and clarity.
