Sub51 have announced the release of Satur8 formatted for NI Kontakt, REX Files, and Apple Loops.
Presented as a full-function Kontakt instrument with access to Compression, Limiter, Reverb, Lo-fi, Delay and Phaser, the meticulously recorded samples were treated to both light and heavy doses of tape compression using a Studer A80 providing plenty of tonal variety as an alternative to the pristine 'clean' version.
Each voice may be individually tuned over a six-octave range. The samples also come as Apple Loop format, REX files, and WAV files, which also includes a 'Tops' only version of all the loops and MIDI files. Satur8 also includes some ready-made loops as well as tools a user may need to build their own distinctive patterns. Satur8 is a TR808 sample-based instrument.
