Tone2 audio has released the Saurus2 virtual analog synthesizer plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X.

Saurus2 is designed to authentically emulate analog synthesizers. It covers important aspects of popular analog synthesizers, but without adopting the disadvantages. Saurus2 is intended to be easy to use and comes with a comfortable interface. It offers a large sonic range, a precise analog emulation, and a flexible synthesis engine. Saurus2 is designed to offer very high sound quality, but without placing heavy demands on the CPU or budget.
