Xtant Audio releases O'Malley's Irish Whistles - Sample library for Kontakt with Intro Offer

Xtant Audio has released O'Malley's Irish Whistles, an Irish Whistle sample library for Kontakt 4 and higher. The professional edition includes four different whistle sample sets performed by Mimi O'Malley; these are in the key of D, C, Bb, and a Low D whistle.

This library was recorded in the same studio as Xtant Audio's Uilleann Pipes, Celtic harp, and Irish Percussion libraries.

All of the whistles include multiple round robin recordings for all articulations as well as a simulated round robin mode that uses a sample borrowing technique to provide a greater number of variations.

The instruments in this library use Kontakt scripting to provide a quick way to switch between different articulations without the use of key switches. Fully customisable key switches are included however for when more precise control is required.

The legato system employed by this library is able to determine when you are playing polyphonically and automatically switch to polyphonic sustain mode. This system also includes a retrigger feature that allows you to perform trills of any interval, duration, and tempo as well as many other Irish whistle ornaments.

O'Malley's Irish whistle provides two methods for creating bends, slides, and glides that will help you to add greater authenticity to your performances.
