Xtant Audio releases Paddy's Percussion - Irish percussion sample library for Kontakt with Intro Offer

Xtant Audio has released Paddy's Percussion, an Irish percussion sample library for Kontakt 4 and higher. This library was performed by Paddy Broderick and recorded in the same studio as Xtant Audio's Uilleann Pipes and Celtic harp libraries.

The library contains over 1300 bodhrán and cajón samples, including individual hits and freestyle rhythms. Both instruments were recorded with up to six dynamic layers, several round robin repetitions (10x for the Bodhrán, 6x for the Cajón), and multiple hand positions.

The two instruments in this library share a common interface. The on-screen controls provide access to a number of features, all of which are detailed in the user guide.

The instruments include a variety of looped rhythms that can be triggered with a single key. The interface provides time stretching controls for adjusting the tempo of the rhythms, and a purge function for unloading them entirely when they're not being used.

The bodhrán and cajón both feature a built in step sequencer for creating playable loops. Up to five rhythms can be sequenced at one time and can be quickly selected and played back using key switches.
