XY StudioTools has released a free update for the Max For Live arrangement tool Song Sketch 2. The new version 2.1 includes workflow improvements that take full advantage of the Ableton Live 11 API.
New features in Song Sketch 2.1:
- Improved Clip Placement (Live 11). Clips are arranged faster and with greater flexibility, including support for poly rhythms and no limitations for clip lengths.
- Sections Track (Live 11). Option to create a track with section names for improved visual guidance when working with the arrangement in Live.
- Placing Locators in the song structure. Locators at song sections facilitates continuous work with song structure after having placed the arrangement in Live.
- Use Scene Names. Easier workflow for integrating multiple scenes in the arrangements, as scene names will be transferred to Song Sketch.
- Performance and bug fixes.
