Alien Island: Notes is a collection of NES-style 8-bit sample instruments inspired by the music of the game Contra. This pack reflects the distinct musical character of the game's stages, from the driving, rock-influenced grooves of the enemy base levels to the more open, pulse-heavy themes used for jungle and alien environments. The instruments include leads and stabs for riff-based themes, solid bass tones, and 8-bit drum samples designed to support the steady, propulsive feel heard throughout the soundtrack.
