Blazeit

Blazeit is a saturation clipper and transient shaper for macOS, built to make drums, bass, and full mixes louder without losing their punch. Clipping flattens the top of every peak to raise loudness — but a drum hit's attack is a peak, so clipping alone can soften transients. Blazeit detects the attack with a fast/slow envelope-follower pair and adds it back, so the result is louder and snappier at once.

Clipper:

• Soft, Medium, Hard, and Cubic curves.
• 2×, 4×, or 8× oversampling to keep aliasing above the audible range.
• Zero attack time — reshapes the waveform sample by sample.

Transient shaper:

• Bipolar Attack from −100% to +100%.
• Bipolar Sustain from −100% to +100%.
• Fast/slow envelope follower isolates the attack portion.

Multiband and saturation:

• Linkwitz-Riley 24 dB/oct band split.
• Independent bass-band drive for a tight low end.
• Pre-clipper saturation: Tape, Tube, or Grit.

Workflow:

• Auto-Gain matches output loudness to input for honest A/B.
• IGNITE 500 ms drive sweep and a momentary OVERHEAT push.
• Mono check and a before/after wave display.
• Randomize, A/B compare slots, and preset save/load.

Formats: AU, VST3, and Standalone — Universal Binary (Apple Silicon + Intel), code-signed and notarized by Apple, so it installs cleanly on macOS.
