CCMkI Classic Compressor is a free audio plugin designed to provide transparent and musical compression for modern music production. Developed by sound designer and engineer Jhonatan López for NoiseRoom UIO, this compressor combines traditional compression characteristics with clean digital implementation.

Features

The CCMkI Classic Compressor offers essential compression controls with unique characteristics:

• Input Control: Pre-processing input level adjustment that adds harmonic saturation when increased, providing natural warmth and character to the signal.
• Ratio Buttons: Stepped compression ratios from gentle 2:1 to hard limiting, with input saturation applied when any ratio button is engaged.
• Threshold Control: Adjustable compression threshold up to 0dB, with input saturation applied even when no compression occurs (threshold at 0dB).
• Attack Control: Ultra-fast attack times from 20 microseconds ("Fast") to 800 microseconds ("Slow"), both exceptionally quick for tight transient control.
• Release Control: Release times ranging from 50 milliseconds ("Fast") to 1.1 seconds ("Slow") for natural recovery characteristics.
• Output Control: Final output level adjustment for gain compensation and level matching.
