ComPressure is a dual channel compressor plugin with a number of features:

  • External sidechain support.
  • High pass filter for internal or external sidechain.
  • Optional gain reduction limit.
  • Defeatable soft/safety clipper.
  • Mewiness control for vari-mu style compression.
  • Switchable parameter linking between the two channels.
  • Per channel makeup gain and overall output gain control.
  • Bypass switches per channel and for the entire plugin.

Oh well its a another compressor, problem is it is not that well executed, you can't read the meters and the buttons sometimes become unresponsive. It tries to mimic a vari-mu compressor, but it does not really sound like one, it is based on Airwindows code, and if you know anything about Airwindows plugins, they "don't have a sound", maybe the algorithms are great, but they do not translate to real world solutions, just my opinion. I tried this compressor, could not make it sound good, pass...
