ensemble diffuser

Ensemble Diffuser is a dual-circuit modulation effect built around a three-voice ensemble chorus and a multi-stage phaser.

The point was not just to put two modulation effects in one plugin and call it a day. It was to make something where the two parts actually make sense together. The ensemble adds width, instability, and that floating stringer-style movement, while the phaser adds notch motion and harmonic sweep. You can run them in series or in parallel depending on whether you want width first or movement first.

Because the two circuits can be blended and bypassed independently, it can stay subtle if needed, or get much more obvious without turning into a mess. I think that is the useful part of it. It can add motion and size without feeling like you have to build a whole modulation chain just to get there.

It is a good fit for:

• pads and chord material that need movement.
• synth leads and keys that need more width.
• guitars and clean plucks that need a motion layer.
• bass-adjacent material where light settings can add life without collapsing the center
