GeoTrumpet runs inside GeoShred Studio, where the Bb trumpet's full expressive range is accessible through GeoShred's multi-row continuous pitch surface. Press into the grid to shape lip tension, dynamic level, and tone character in real time; shift position to move between a soft, singing lower register and a searing fortissimo in the upper range. Mute tonal characters and vibrato respond continuously to gesture input. The SWAM engine models the underlying brass acoustics; GeoShred Studio's integrated FX rack delivers reverb, echo, and amp modeling throughout the performance chain, including processed trumpet textures.

The Trumpet's Acoustic Identity

The modern Bb trumpet is a cylindrical-bore brass instrument with three piston valves, where pitch is determined by the combination of lip tension, air speed, and valve position. The player's embouchure and breath control shape tone quality continuously, and small changes in lip pressure shift the character from soft and singing to bright and cutting. GeoShred Studio places that continuous, breath-driven behavior under direct gestural control across the instrument's full dynamic range.
