Naada Bass runs inside GeoShred Studio, where the electric bass's full tonal range is accessible across GeoShred's multi-row continuous pitch surface. Press into the grid to shape attack dynamics and sustain; slide between positions for legato bass lines or hold multiple notes for chordal bass voicings. Naada Bass is fully polyphonic, opening up double stops, chord comping, and layered bass textures beyond what a single-note bass line provides. The AccelMatrix physical modeling engine powers the underlying acoustic simulation; GeoShred's integrated FX rack adds reverb, echo, and amp modeling as part of the signal chain.

The Foundation of the Mix

The electric bass is tuned E, A, D, G, an octave below the guitar's lowest four strings. Its tone ranges from deep and warm to punchy and bright depending on playing technique and pickup position. In GeoShred Studio, the AccelMatrix model captures that sustained, solid character with continuous control over articulation and dynamics, while polyphonic capability adds chordal bass voicings and layered textures that extend well beyond traditional single-note bass lines.

GeoShred Studio and GeoShred Control

GeoShred Studio runs as a VST3, AU, or AUv3 plugin inside Logic Pro, Cubase, Reaper, and other major DAWs, or as a standalone application. Its multi-row isomorphic surface is tuned in perfect fourths, a layout that maps naturally to the electric bass's standard tuning and supports fluid position shifts across the instrument's range.

GeoShred Control pairs with GeoShred Studio via USB and puts a second multi-touch surface on an iPhone or iPad for use during live performance. MPE hardware, wind and breath controllers connect directly as well.
