This is always my final step when mastering songs - brings the levels up and glues everything together without completely crushing your mix, and you can also add some gentle saturation to the highs. I tend to use the simple GUI because it's less visually busy.

the rumbling about which GUI sounds better is complete rubbish idiot-talk. how should some diffenrent pixels in an image change the sound? for some explanations of such phenomena I woould be gladly thankful ... :-))
vladg has explained it several times: the engine does not change, when you change the look. therefore from the point of a GUI always is spoken of as "look & feel". you know: "feel" ... this is waht changes. but not the sound. oh my God ...

Note - the 1.0.2 version may have issues with Reaper, where it eats memory. There's a 1.0.2b version that fixes this.

with a bridge I cnc'd and a Lace low profile mag pickup.
Just direct, a bit of Gliss EQ (Voxengo) and the Limiter6 1.0.2b version. Just great.
