Mirkverb

Mirkverb is a collection of physically modelled impulse responses inspired by locations in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium.

This product contains over 80 impulse recordings including, individual left and right stereo files, combined stereo files, and true stereo quad files. All in .wav format.

We provide both front and rear microphone positions allowing you to make full use of almost any high quality surround sound convolution reverb unit.

Using proprietary physical modelling software we are able to create highly realistic impulse responses of spaces that don't exist in the real world.

For this collection we studied floor plans, descriptions, maps, and paintings of ten locations in Tolkien's world and created a beautiful set of impulse responses with which to immerse your music.
