XY-FAT pro

XY-FAT Pro is a Mid/Side stereo processor that offers independent control over the dynamics and harmonic content of the Mid and Side channels.

Each channel includes a high-pass filter, envelope-driven compression, peak EQ, and a soft saturation stage. The amount of saturation is determined both by how hard the signal is pushed (via Fattness) and by a dynamic saturation threshold controlled by Colour.

Parameters:

• Mid Fattness – Controls compression depth and output gain for the Mid channel. Higher values increase loudness and saturation.
• Mid Colour – Adjusts the peak EQ and saturation threshold for the Mid channel, affecting both tone and harmonic response.
• Side Fattness – Controls compression and gain for the Side channel, shaping stereo width and saturation.
• Side Colour – Controls tonal coloration and saturation threshold on the Side signal.
• Input Gain (dB) – Global pre-processing gain applied before Mid/Side encoding.
• Limiter On/Off – Engages a post-processing safety limiter for both channels.
• Limiter Threshold (dB) – Sets the ceiling for the limiter.
• AutoGain On/Off – Normalizes level changes using real-time envelope followers.
• Bypass – Disables all processing.

XY-FAT Pro is designed for detailed stereo enhancement, allowing precise dynamic and harmonic balancing between center and sides of a mix.
