If your looking for a reverb to replace ALL then look no further! This is by far one of the greatest reverb plugins on the market today.... unfortunately its not cheap!

User Interface: 10/10

Could you make it any easier to use? Fully customizable main screen for priority attributes you wish to tweak to avoid having to toggle through the few tabs that contain all tools needed to create the ultimate reverb. Clean GUI, with everything right there in front of you!

Sound: 10/10

I give this more a 50/10 but can't unfortunately. Lexicon is renown for there reverbs and this plugin stands true to there reputation. Never have I heard a reverb plugin that makes you feel like your in the exact space being presented from it. It gives you a 3D spacial quality that is defined, crisp, rich and downright unobtainable anywhere else. Its a very refined reverb that will sit in the mix perfectly. You would have to be a miracle worker to make this reverb sound bad. Its almost impossible!

Features: 10/10

Everything you need to create a spacial environment is there for you at your disposal. It doesn't just do traditional spaces but you can really make it do spacial effects along with spectacularly fancy reverb patches. You get 7 separate reverb plugins covering Chamber, Room, Hall, Random Hall, Concert hall, Plate, Vintage Plate! 3 band EQ provided along with graphic details of the reverb presented!

Documentation: 10/10

Easy to understand and explains all.

Presets: 10/10

Hundreds of presets included! This sounds so good that just about any preset you use will sound amazing! This will make anything you put on it sound that much better.

Customer Support: 10/10

The only reason it gets a 10 is because I have yet to use it. I have heard stories however that states otherwise. So I will say this is a solid product that will not have you running to Lexicon for assistance so it scores what it does on that note.

Value For The Money: 9/10

This one was hard to score. The main reason is being the $1,800 price tag. There are a handful of reverbs that can give you awesome results for FAR less money! The reason why this IS worth the money is because this sounds so much like the Lexicon hardware. The sound alone is unlike anything you will get anywhere. It is hard to part on $2,000 on something as simple as a reverb plugin but if your serious about your sound and your music you won't go wrong. I am satisfied so it gets a 9 from me. Then again only serious people in the music business will shell out this kind of money anyhow so I don't expect bedroom producers too. Serious inquiries only!

Stability: 10/10

No problems what so ever! Rock solid

Conclusions:

There are some that claim to be reverbs and others that need no explanation. This needs no explanation! You want professional results you get it here. Again, its almost impossible to make this sound bad! CPU processing is moderate and not too demanding for what it gives you! For those that demand the best!

Simply One of the best 909 vsts on the market. Hands down! It sounds so close to the real thing its eerie. For all the oldschool heads such as myself that thrive for the classic 909 need to not look anywhere else, you found what you are looking for with a cherry on top! D16 makes some extremely impressive plugins for great value, and this is no exception. I have heard all the other attempts from other vst makers and frankly they don't capture the essence of the real thing like D16 has. Of course I would take the hardware over the software any day but if I had to choose the next best thing it would be this right here!

This vst captures the pure attitude of the real thing. I have had the chance to play with the real thing on many occasions and Drumazon puts me in the mode like its a software extension of the hardware. Everything you could do with the hardware unit you can do here exactly the same way but with some extras. Unlike the real unit you cannot save presets! Which is awesome for instant call back when you created that hard face punching 909 kick along with everything else you grown to love about the real 909!

User Interface: 10/10

Beautiful GUI that looks exactly like the hardware unit did. Very clean looking and realistic!

Sound: 9/10

Best 909 on the market! It looses a point because its not exactly the real thing but I bet if you were blind folded and the real thing was playing and then the software you will have a hard time telling the difference!

Features: 10/10

Everything a 909 is with the additions of saving presets, drum patterns and the like with no limitations!

Documentation: 10/10

Its easy to operate in the first place but if you didn't know what you were doing you will by the time you were done reading the manual!

Presets: 7/10

As there not many they are good as starting points to get what you want. However, who needs presets anyways with this thing!?

Customer Support: 10/10

D16 are true to the game and there customers. If a time bomb was about to go off in 5 minutes a quick SOS message to them would be replied fast enough to disarm the threat!

Value For The Money: 10/10

Cost 10x less then the real deal and sounds almost exact! Who can complain!

Stability: 10/10

Never crashed even if it was under the influence! Extremely reliable!

Conclusion:

If you want a 909 look no further! Light on CPU, clean, quality product! Unfortunately a crowd is not included so start handing flyers out! There is a party going on and it all starts in your computer! =)

All I have to say is the is probly the greatest plugin I have ever owned! The sound quality is impeccable! Trance,House,Hardcore ect ect ect can be made with ease! It comes with hundreds of HIGH QUALITY sounds! There are also expansion packs that you can purchase for a reasonable price.
If you produce trance music look no further! This is probly the greatest plugin for trance producers. If your crazy about ReFX Vanguard it makes it sound like a $30 casio keyboard!
It comes with an advanced arpeggiator with presets and the ability to make your own presets and save them. Same goes for the trance gate which is like Vanguards but a step further! Both are quick and easy to program. Make that Trance Leads arpeggiate or gate with ease!
The build in effects are nice. I like the delay alot and the reverb is nice too, helping you to come up with endless variations of sounds. Simply put, these sounds are PRO!
Now for the cons............You have to put in extra hours of work to b able to afford this with ALL the expansions. $249 is well worth it for this plugin........When you add around $70-80 for each of the 6 expansions your looking to spend over $600 like did. However I have at least a thousand of the highest quality, non-lame sounds of today!! I cannot find any plugin that does what it does so well! Also there are a pack of skins you can use to change its appearance. Another $20!

GUI - Simple and effective. All the knobs are where they should be and spreaded out thoughtfully.

Sound - If I was to blind test you with the real thing and this vst you would no be able to tell the difference!!!! Spot on!

Features - Everything you expect a 303 to do is there! However this thing does not stop there. the midi capabiliies to this are clever and the patterns just leave you in awe! Best thing is he famous pattern section. Sounds like the real songs!

Documentation - Everything you need to know is there and explained logically

Presets - Who needs them this is a 303!lol

Customer Support - Can't say never had to use it. Mike however does answer questions swiftly.

Value - Lets see about $3000 for the real thing or about $100 for something that sounds 99% like it! To be honest I felt like I ripped Mike off!lol

Stability - Reliable!! Period!

What can I say. This is one of the greatest 303 emulators out there!Wet, Juicy, fat, squelchy however you perfer that 303 to sound this thing does it with precision! The filters couldn't be anymore exact. The accents an decay are just about identical to the real thing. Every little detail and overtones are amazingly realisic!!Funny, I think Mike snuck in the Roland factory and stole the schematics!!!!
