Miroslav Philharmonik 2

I don't normally do this, but I put 5 stars to offset the 1 star reviews. It's really a 3-4 star product. Some of the flaws mentioned are there, but some of them are just users not going deep enough. It's definitely not a 1 star product. Are products like East-West and VSL better? Yes, and much more expensive. I got this on a great sale and I would recommend waiting for it to go on sale (which it regularly does). The multi patches make it easy to switch articulations and mapping your mod wheel/volume pedal correctly allows for the dynamics changes another reviewer felt was lacking. Also the whole of the original Miroslav is included, so I'm not sure why that one reviewer was bemoaning that he missed the original.

It's a decent product for part time composers who don't want to spend the money on products that cost 5-10x this does. This is like the Squire brand for Fender, it gets the job done and has 90% of what the much more expensive products have.

I use this plugin all the time. It's amazingly simple, transparent, and powerful, all at the same time. It's a safeguard against overages on all my tracks and a quick and easy limiter for easy mastering for not finished tracks (I always say go to someone else for final mastering if you have mixed the project). Donate a coffee or two or more for this! Great plugin.

This is not a plugin I would have thought to buy, but I got a free copy and decided to try it. It is really good at getting you started and providing beats. I used it in Ableton Live 11 and was able to get a song together in no time flat with this as the beat creator. It has enough variety to keep me going for awhile, and then I'll be looking at their other plugins. Really easy to use.

BTW, it's free for October 2021 at https://www.adsrsounds.com/ with any purchase. Their ADSR sample manager is a really great free product as well.

REAPER is a great DAW. It did take a bit of learning coming from Pro Tools, but any DAW will do that. I have Pro Tools, Studio One, Ableton Live, Mixbus, MPC Beats and REAPER. I keep coming back to REAPER because it is quick and flexible. I can do almost anything I can dream up in REAPER. I'll use my other DAWs to kick start creativity sometimes, but generally come back to REAPER to finish it off. I bought a license back in version 3 and am using v5.99 as my license ran out after two major updates (I will renew my update license eventually). They still have all the older versions available for download too.

This is a seriously great synth! I love the sounds I get from it, and the arpegiator functionality is awesome! Best free synth I've come across! I'll be purchasing other things from this company if this is what they have for free. Beats many paid synths I've tried.
