Upon loading in Unmask, I tried it on a number of mixes. My immediate experience is that it really does what it says, and is transparently effective on any well-recorded material.
Now the following may very well be because I am not yet completely familiar with Unmaskʻs parameters, so please keep this in mind. I used it on some mixes that, when I received them, contained certain seriously harsh and mic-overloaded high-end frequencies. Resolving this as best I could, my pre-mastered mixes weighed heavily on the lower end of the eq spectrum. Using Unmask only brought back the problem high end frequencies.
That being said, I plan on dropping Unmask upon the more reasonably recorded mixes whenever they appear. Highly recommended.
Fantastic tool! From OTT style compression to cleaning Vocals and resonating sounds and more! I love it so much. Best spending 119$ ever.

The Modern G-31 is absolutely the best 31-bands EQ I've tried. Compliments to the developers for creating a reference EQ.
Update the spectrum analyzer with an adjustable brightness wheel (I can hardly see).
Thanks.

If I was to choose a real Pro-Q3 killer, this is my definite shot. I'm a long-term FabFilter user and actually Kirchhoff made me really switch to something else in surgical EQ-ing since 7 years maybe?
It's got its little flaws, inconsistencies, but the devs are really responsive and are constantly working on improving things. The general feel and usability of the current version (1.3.2) are still really amazing and working with it is just a dream.
Some bulletpoins I like most:
- proper, complex yet intuitive dynamic section, .
- smooth, not stepped slopes and Q, .
- customization options beyond anything I knew can make it really more than my go-to, they can simply make Kirchhoff MY eq, .
- sleek, with great visual feedback, good looking and stable.
Points to improve:
- 5.1/surround support - waiting for it, .
- dynamic EQ depth with mouse scroll - steps are not too precise, .
- some parameters in dynamic mode can't be clicked twice to edit numerically, .
- issues when operating using a touch screen - increment/decrement doesn't work at all.

Heavier7Strings is AMAZING !!! i have many seven string guitar libraries that sound really good, .
but H7S is a whole new level...
the realism is so deep & articulate, i can't stop playing this thing !!.
truly a new breakthrough in the Metal electric guitar sample library world !!.
it's the best to date...

At first you have to know I'm not guitar player and well I'm not even a musician. I can't and I will not compare it with real guitar but I will rather treat it as virtual instrument since well - it is a virtual instrument.
Sound is very important but UI, workflow, performance and stability is important too. I do enjoy sound design but from sampler I mostly expect usable sound without spending too much time to tweak the instrument. With H7S you can have that but of course you can tweak it to your liking. Versatile and very usable not just for heavy riffs but also for clean sound. Fast loading and better performance compared for example to some similar guitar libraries in kontakt and very stable (for me FLStudio 12.5 64-bit no single issue during testing). Clean and resizable UI that is easy to navigate. Awesome sound and many usable features.
My first e guitar was Shreddage 2 SRP which is nice but it was more suited for heavy stuff so I have added and Evolution Dracus to my arsenal for more clean sound. Both libraries are good and usable but ... Now I have also added H7S to my instruments pool and it will become my main tool for electric guitar sound. It may be more expensive but better sounding, more versatile and it come it very good effect rack that can be used separately. So at the end it is cheaper.
During my first test with H7S I made short and simple track using 3 slightly modified factory presets - instances. One instance for clean, one for rhythm and one for lead/solo accompanied with strings, brass section and some orchestral drums ensemble in middle for some hybrid music experience. It is not best showcase but it was made right after my first use of this instrument. That's really show how easy is to use this beast.
