Barricade defaults to a 50% Multiband setting when opened, try turning the Multiband control to 0%, It should then sound much more like Barricade 2.lacandon wrote:Just been messing with the new Barricade hm for some reason the new version sounds very flat and louder then version 2 don't know if this is only me hearing it but ...do u know how i can install version 2?

Yep i removed Stereo Link and Multiband as i did before but with just 2 db input it sound squashed and eats the sub bass its noticeable. Its a track we work on those days and on the Genelec subwoofer i hear slight difference with the same settings used just before to update, the bass is more flat and not roundy ! The change its not night and day but i can hear it.If someone knows how to instal version 2 i will be very thankful i want to compare on the same file both as i kept at least 3 bounces with last version!chuck death wrote:Barricade defaults to a 50% Multiband setting when opened, try turning the Multiband control to 0%, It should then sound much more like Barricade 2.lacandon wrote:Just been messing with the new Barricade hm for some reason the new version sounds very flat and louder then version 2 don't know if this is only me hearing it but ...do u know how i can install version 2?

As far as I can see he hasn't explicitly promised to add any more plugins to 3.0 in this thread, but on the other hand he's quite open to it if there's a reasonable demand. I might have missed something though...On 'missing' plugins; the v2.9.1 downloads are still available; a couple of plugins are just taken out of the webshop and are not updated to v3.0 but if you bought them previously, you can still download and use them with your existing registrations. If there is strong demand to update some of these plugins (for example Module), just chime in. If it is just a handful of people it is probably not worth the effort, but if there are many that would like to see one of them to be included in version 3.something, just let me know.

I really do think his reverb is very underrated, you can get some lovely spaces without much effort.
If only I could buy them separately

Done. V3.0.1 now available for download. The v3.x plugins should show up as separate plugins if you have v2.x on your system. Their file name, name showing up in the DAW, and plugin ID are all different between v2.x and v3.x, so most hosts should be able to deal with this.djeroen wrote:Ok, expect a v3.1 update fairly soon, which can co-exist to 2.x.

I bought FIX a few months back. Now with the new update FIX shows up as registered as it should but FIX4 is showing up as a demo version. The one keyfile was good for both versions before but not now apparently or maybe it's a mistake?. Anyone else notice the same?

I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.
